Belly Up Tavern

Of all the concert venues in town, this is easily my favorite. Such a great variety of bands that come into this place, that has great acoustics. It also has some seating, which works well for acoustic performers, too.

Some of the bigger names surprise me by playing here. It's always such a diverse section of bands. I've seen the Tom Tom Club and Macy Gray funk it up, as well as Bootsie Collins. I've seen hard rock bands (too many to even list, since I've been hitting this place up for almost 30 years).

It's unfortunate that it's 21 and up, because as a teenager, I had to miss a few bands I really wanted to see.
