Rakadeka Fresh Thai Kitchen

This place is simply phenomenal. I have been a few times now and each time, the food is simply amazing. It's tasty, fragrant, beautifully presented and unpretentious. In fact, one of the order takers appears to be an old surfer dude who just sort of sits on his chair waiting for you to come up and order. They are friendly, and you can watch the kitchen guys cook your food if you wish. They bring your order out to your table - either indoors or out.



I have had the pad thai (some of the best I've tasted in town), chicken and vegetables stir fry and some of the best spring rolls in town. And, besides being extremely tasty, their portion sizes are huge and the prices are not.



The people running the Rakadeka restaurants (there is another one on Friars Road that I haven't eaten at) could sure teach the Pick Up Stix and Panda Express people a thing or two about taste, portion size and pricing.



If you don't go experience Rakadeka you are truly missing out.
