I have been a customer of this place (and under its prior name of Ali Baba) for over 15 years, since my parents used to take me. It has always been my favorite Mediterranean restaurant until now. I went there with my wife and two toddlers and they wanted to charge for 4 buffets. I explained that my toddlers don't eat a full meal by any means and would only want to eat some pita and a small portion of hummus. Seriously...they are toddlers...they don't even eat full meals from the kids menu yet, just a few bites. How greedy and rude to try to profit from this by refusing to sell some pita and a small hummus for our children to eat with us and instead insisting that they can only order the buffet! I told them we would not eat there if that was the case and they shrugged like they could care less and we left. Sad to cross this place off of our list of favorite restaurants after many years of great food and service.

The food was good. I wish there was a larger selection. Lamb kabobs were delicious.

By far one of the best lunch buffets in town. Decently priced and the Thyme flat bread is to die for.

Everyone in your party must all order the buffet or only order from the menu; some people cannot order the buffet while the others in your party order from the menu. Someone in our party was forced to order the $15 buffet even though they had just had their stomach stapled; the person originally went there to order a menu item for a few bites and wanted to take the rest home. This turned into a major problem with the greedy manager, who had problems with being respectful. I returned to the restaurant the next day when the owner was available to speak with. He was just as rude as the manager had been, and he insisted there was nothing wrong with enforcing the "all-eat-from-the-buffer-or-all-eat-from-the-menu" policy, even though one member had only been able to eat a few bites because of a recent surgery. The owner was not able to even look me in the eyes and tell me this because he knew how greedy and selfish his argument was. On top of all of this, the only reason we stayed there to eat was because we had been fasting all day for religious purposes, and we were too tired to leave and go somewhere else. When I told the owner that, he said that was my problem!!
Although the food was tasty, the rude attitudes from the waiter and manager were not worth the food! The stress alone was enough to lose my appetite. It was, by far, one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a restaurant, and I will never return to that restaurant.
