The food here is awesome. I always get the Wings & Waffles. This is a fav spot that I take all visitors that come to town. I love the great customer service and family atmosphere.

I really like this place. I didn't like the parking though. I expected the lines to be long but they moved quickly. The fish and grits are my favorite. No reservation required. The staff was friendly. I will be back. Really enjoyed it!

One of the best breakfast spots in the country and I'm not just saying that because it's in my hometown. The Katfish & grits is my absolute fave. I've been eating here since they first opened when I was in middle school. I'll always be a loyal customer!

Fish and grits were delicious. This breakfast place had a long line that moved very quickly.

Provided by SuperpagesI have eaten here several times and don't get there as often as I'd like but in a nutshell, The Breakfast Klub is simply delightful. From the food, decor and ambience, you can't go wrong. The raspberry tea goes down smoothly after the scrumptious chicken and waffles. Once you try it, you'll want to try everything on the menu. Nestled near downtown/3rd ward Houston area, it's a favorite. There may be a line outside, so don't go when you're absolutely starving, you'll be upset if you wait too long, that just means the food is that good.

Was trying to find a good breakfast place near mid town, so thought here was worth it. Staff very friendly, food very good (but pricey - $3.00 for a cup of coffee's a bit much!), however I couldn't finish my breakfast for all the pictures of President Obama and his family, everywhere. If I saw an American flag or some indication of Americanism, I could assume the owner's agenda was patriotic, but that didn't exist. I will check with longer time Houstonians, but I'll bet when fellow Housotian George Bush was in office, his and his family's pictures were not on display. While I appreciate everyone's right to their opinions, I also value my rights not to patronize or promote such nonsense. Gues I'll still have to go out of my way to the Avalon Grill until I find abetter mid town solution.

If you are looking for a good old fashion southern breakfast---then the Breakfast Klub should be your destination. I've been there about 4 times and each time the food was good and the service was great. However I must warn you, if you go on a Saturday morning the line to get in will be wrapped around the building, but it is worth the wait.
