If your looking for a place to get a wedding cake or anything else for that matter, please go somewhere else!! Not only is the owner unprofessional but she's rude. We ordered a $400 wedding cake and asked for strawberry, we go over and over and over the order with her and she says, "Ok i got it". Yet 1 week before the wedding she calls to ask us what type of cake we ordered?! Really? It's called writing it down!! So wedding night comes, we cut the cake and it's Peach not strawberry?! All of my guest disliked it and we wasted 80% of it!! So next day we call the owner calmly and tell her she screwed up if we can get some type of discount and she snaps! Saying that she doesn't even make peach in her store! I guess 200+ at my wedding are idiots and can't tell tge difference between strawberries or peach. Most people wouldn't even pay for the cake that didn't order but we weren't going to be messes up and we wanted to pay as long as we got a discount for ruining our weddig cake but she basically called us stupid! So if you want to avoid dealing with unprofessional crooks! Please go else where but always look at reviews first, because youll get screwed like we did. We paid her all her money to avoid any further trouble but we will never do business with her again and neither should you. Ignore my review and you might feel stupid if this happens to you too!! My wife and i are great people but we shouldn't let anyone walk all over us and neither should anyone. People take advantage of good people and Shakira pastries did that to us. We could have won in court, her word vs 200+ from my wedding is a strong case but karma is even bigger. I'll let God take care of it but as to the bussiness part, avoid them or regreat it wedding night.
